About Your Role
Supporting our Australian Munitions manufacturing and Explosive Ordnance Services storage and logistics business units, this role is focused on delivering solutions to our defence customer within a business-to-government environment.
Preparation and submission of formal proposals and request for tender responses
Development of relevant documentation to progress business opportunities and develop them to their full potential
Analysis of established inventory data and excel tools to provide recommended solutions to our customer
Managing and reporting of progress of assigned new business implementation including reporting to internal and external stakeholders/customers of risks, issues and opportunities
Engage with assigned customers to identify business opportunities, while both maintaining and developing relationships
How About You?
Degree qualifications in Engineering, Science, business or another relevant field
Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively, with a strong focus on delivery
Strong written communication skills are essential and familiarity with Defence writing standards is advantageous
An understanding of the defence industry or experience in a Business-to-Government setting
Strong stakeholder engagement capability and ability to work within a complex multi stakeholder environment
Solid experience in designing and implementing business development strategies, including developing new proposals, negotiating contracts and capturing new business
Good MS suite (Word and Excel) capability, plus any knowledge of COMSARM or MILIS (advantageous)
