Health Safety Environment (HSE) Product Engineer (m/f/d)

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

As the HSE product engineer you are responsible for the roll out the HSE process, methods and tools in terms of HSE product within his/her entity. You also support the analyses of legal and specific requirements (from customers) and identifies risks and impacts in terms of product HSE and watches that all the parties interfaced with the product (KAM, bid and project managers, buyers, architects, logistics etc.) are informed about legal requirement and changes in it, available tools and methods as well possible innovations on products in the field of HSE.

It also involves the following tasks:

  • Performs Analysis for technical and not technical requirements to ensure the requirements compliance (RoHS, REACH, WEEE and Energy Related Products;
  • Support the HSE program deployment (supply chain, subcontractors, suppliers);
  • Support to contract managers in the negotiation of contracts and in the customer relation on aspects HSE;
  • Identification and management of the non-compliances and makes sure of the capitalization
  • Definition, consolidation and analyzing of operational indicators on HSE product aspects

You have:

  • Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science
  • Deep knowledge in different railway standards
  • High developed Engineering and Project Management skills
  • Experience in safety critical environment with operational and technical railway knowhow (AREMA, CENELEC)
  • Expert knowledge in standards and directives for health, safety and environment.
  • Highly flexible team player, high motivated and self-organized
  • Fluent German and English skills
